April 2008 NewsletterAt the World Masters Indoor Championships, five club members won ten gold medals,; three silver medals and one bronze medal for a total of fourteen medals. I no longer will make any predictions as to when it will come about, other than to note that it is not a scam and it will come to fruition. Any info that I relate is based on what is told to me .I have no control over if and when. When money comes it , checks will be sent out for those who competed for FAC in Orono, Boston 2008 and the 5 Km Race Walk in Tenn. There will be $300 for each appearance. When the big one comes in we’ll then detail plans to expand the club, provide equipment and have group practices. Bob THIS AND THAT

When John lived in Florida he was the driving force in hosting a Weight Pentathlon. Upon moving to North Carolina he also developed the weight pentathlon. He will be missed
APRIL 26th FAC MEET #3 In order to break even on these meets the club sponsors in South Florida, we need at least 30 competitors. We’ve been able to do that for the first two meets due to the participation of Pope John H.S.Now that the H.S. Thanks to coach Nate Robinson. Now that the H.S> season is underway coach Robinson’s team will not be competing. SO, WE NEED THE FULL PARTICIPATION OF ALL OF OUR CLUB MEMBERS IN SOUTH FLORIDA
